Steve Beaton took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week 11 of Series 11 commencing at the MODUS Super Series.
Beaton, who last appeared at the Super Series back in April, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Jenson Walker, Ricardo Ham, Jonny Barnes and Jurjen Van der Velde, with his only defeat coming against Lee Evans, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, three players in Jurjen Van der Velde, Jenson Walker and Lee Evans ended the day 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, whilst Ricardo Ham sits in 5th on 4 points and Jonny Barnes bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Beaton leading the way thus far.
