Jimmy Van Schie & Danny Van Trijp maintained their position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of their five matches for Team Netherlands on Day Two and looks to secure their place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Van Schie & Van Trijp, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five again to remain at the top of the table as the pair continue to mount a sterling defence for The Netherlands.
The champions recorded victories against Carl Gabriel & Devon Petersen (South Africa), Andreas Harrysson & Anton Ostlund (Sweden), Scott Campbell & Robert Thornton (Scotland) and Richie Burnett & Kurt Parry (Wales), with their only defeat coming against Dawson Murschell & Jeff Smith (Canada), to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Harrysson & Ostlund are the closest competitors to the Dutch duo, as the Swedish pair sit 2nd on 14 points, whilst Murschell & Smith sit in 3rd on 12 points, Burnett & Parry in 4th on 10 points, Campbell & Thornton in 5th on 8 points and Gabriel & Petersen bottom on 0 points, having suffered ten straight defeats thus far.
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Van Schie & Van Trijp leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The MODUS YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
