If you like your tungsten served in sizzling hot portions, with an entertaining twist and even with a nostalgic garnish, the MODUS Live Lounge has you covered yet again.
The second edition of International Pairs Week is already underway, and tomorrow six new teams get chucked into the mix. From that multi-cultural buffet of duos, one pairing has stolen the spotlight: a home nation favourite, and oh yes – a certain two-time PDC World Champion, Adrian Jackpot Lewis.

For the past few years, Lewis has been orbiting the exhibition circuit, thrilling fans between photo ops. But now, the Stoke maestro is back in proper competitive action, teaming up with none other than Steve Beaton. On paper, Aide & The Bronzed Adonis sounds more a 1970s cabaret act. On the oche? It could be glorious.
Now, let’s not oversell this as a Lazarus-style resurrection. Nobody’s writing biblical psalms about Lewis returning to Portsmouth. But for darts fans who still remember his effortless, natural brilliance, it feels monumental enough. The dream ending? Jackpot and the Adonis strolling onto Finals Night together.
That would make for a very busy Saturday for Adrian, though – because at 5pm he’s also billed for An Audience With Phil Taylor. Not a bad warm-up act when your co-star happens to be the most decorated tungsten chucker in history.
Then on Sunday, it’s the latest encore of the Red Dragon MODUS Super Series Influencer Darts Showdown. The first one was such a barnstorming success that decision makers wisely decided to go for it again.
It’s darts, it’s charity, what’s not to be loved? In a nutshell, here’s the recipe: mix half a dozen darting legends (two of which, young guns possibly destined for that status) with half a dozen online characters, split them into two teams, then let them battle through 12 matches.
Each win equals one point, first to seven takes the glory. Add a few walk-ons, some crowd-friendly antics, enough memes to power social media for a week, and you’ve got the picture.
Team Cole Anderson:
Cole Anderson & Robert Thornton
Dan Coates & Steve Beaton
Ben Gibbs & Alex Spellman
TheHullBoy & Jayden Walker
Team JaackMaate:
JaackMaate & Adrian Lewis
Alfie Indra & Devon Petersen
Fingaldinz & Richie Burnett
Bailey McNamara & Ollie Howard
Not bad, is it? Adrian Lewis, Robert Thornton, Devon Petersen, Steve Beaton, Richie Burnett – plus 12-year-old prodigy Jayden Walker, already being whispered about as the next Luke Littler.
Oh, and Phil The Power Taylor’s hanging around too, because if he is offering – why not?
So, find me a darts fan who wouldn’t want a big dollop of that on their plate this weekend. Exactly. Pass the gravy.
