Ryan Branley took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with the inaugural Rising Stars Week commencing at the MODUS Super Series.
Branley, who last competed at the Super Series in July, made a quick return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Thomas Banks, Nathan Care, Henry Coates and Charlie Manby, with his only defeat coming against Jenson Walker, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Charlie Manby also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Branley on leg difference, whilst Jenson Walker and Henry Coates sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, with Thomas Banks sitting in 5th on 2 points and Nathan Care sitting bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Branley leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the MODUS YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
