Danny Ayres took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Four of Series 12 commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Ayres, who last appeared at the Super Series back in May, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Reece Robinson, Jeroen Caron, Dean Gallagher and Jurjen Van der Velde, with his only defeat coming against Jamai Van den Herik, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Jeroen Caron and Jamai Van den Herik ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Jurjen Van der Velde and Reece Robinson sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Dean Gallagher sitting bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Ayres leading the way thus far.
