Damien Grimes took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Two of Series 12 commencing at the MODUS Super Series.
Grimes, who was making his debut at the Super Series, took the early lead after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Jamie Kelling, Jimmy Van Schie, Steve West and Johan Engstrom, with his only defeat coming against Jim McEwan, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Jamie Kelling and Steve West ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Jimmy Van Schie and Johan Engstrom sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Jim McEwan sitting bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Grimes leading the way thus far.
