Pallett Secures Champions Week Place

David Pallett was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Four at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Jurjen Van der Velde in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and pick up the weekly top prize.

Pallett, who entered the finale having won Group C on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Gary Stone and Jurjen Van der Velde to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against former world finalist Andy Hamilton.

Dave whitewashed ‘The Hammer’ 4-0 to book his place in the final. In the decider, Pallett came up against Jurjen Van der Velde for the second time on the night. The young Dutchman had defeated Danny Ayres in the last four.

In a battle between two Former PDC Tour Card Holders, it was Pallett who came out on top, as he defeated his Dutch opponent, 4-3, to secure his place in Champions Week for the first time as well as collecting the weekly winner’s prize.

The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Five, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Series Six Champion Scott Taylor.

Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
