2026 will see the Professional Darts Corporation stage its boldest season yet as it has unveils its full calendar, revealing another record-breaking year of darts. With prize money exceeding £25 million across all levels, two new countries on the European Tour, and the Premier League’s first-ever night in Belgium, this season will be the PDC’s most ambitious yet.
European Tour Heads to Poland and Slovakia
For the first time, the European Tour will stop in both Poland and Slovakia. Krakow will host the third event of the season from February 20-22, capitalising on the success of World Series tournaments that have attracted huge crowds in Poland over the past three years. In June, Bratislava will welcome the world’s best players when the Slovakian capital stages its maiden European Tour event from June 19-21.
These additions take the total number of European Tour tournaments to 15 in 2026, cementing the circuit’s role as a major part of the professional season and a key pathway for players chasing big titles and ranking opportunities.

Record-Breaking Calendar
In total, more than 135 days of PDC-ranked action will take place across 2026, alongside the organisation’s secondary tours and qualifiers. The year begins with Q School from January 5-11, split between Milton Keynes and Kalkar, where hopefuls will battle for coveted Tour Cards.
The first televised ranking event follows at the end of January, when World Champion Luke Humphries defends his World Masters crown in Milton Keynes (January 28-February 1). The tournament will open with preliminary rounds before four days of live coverage.
The PDC ProTour also remains central to the schedule, with 34 Players Championship events once again on the calendar after their successful expansion this year.
Premier League Returns With New Stop in Belgium
February sees the launch of the 2026 BetMGM Premier League, darts’ biggest weekly roadshow. After opening in Newcastle on February 5, the tournament makes its Belgian debut in Antwerp on February 12. The AFAS Dome will play host to a historic night, reflecting the rapid growth of darts in Belgium and the influence of local stars Dimitri Van den Bergh and Mike De Decker.
Further Premier League nights across the UK, Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands will set the stage for the Finals Night at The O2 in London on May 28, where the sport’s elite will battle for the £1.25m prize fund.

Major Highlights of 2026
- UK Open: The sport’s annual “FA Cup of darts” returns to Butlin’s Minehead Resort in March.
- World Cup of Darts: Frankfurt will stage the pairs competition from June 11-14.

- World Darts Championship: The season culminates in December, where 128 players will compete for a record £1 million top prize and the Sid Waddell Trophy.
Pathways and Opportunities
Beyond the televised majors, the PDC remains committed to its wider structure. The Women’s Series, Challenge Tour, and Development Tour will all stage 24 events each, providing emerging players with opportunities to progress and earn spots in televised tournaments.
PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter hailed the release of the calendar as another milestone in darts’ global expansion.
“2025 has been a huge year on the PDC circuit, and we look forward to continuing that growth next year with the expansion of the European Tour, including the addition of two new venues in Poland and Slovakia,” said Porter. “This is such an exciting time for the sport, and we’re delighted that we can provide further opportunities for all players on the PDC circuit throughout 2026. Alongside our planned prize money increases, we’re also pleased to be able to take the Premier League to Belgium, consolidating our continued growth in Europe.”

Looking Ahead
With new destinations, record prize funds, and an expanded European Tour, the 2026 campaign is set to push darts into new territory. Fans across the continent will be treated to historic firsts, while players will face more opportunities—and more pressure—than ever before.
From Q School hopefuls to world champions, the year promises to deliver another unforgettable chapter in darts’ ongoing boom.
