Boris Into MODUS Super Series Finale

Boris Krcmar secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Krcmar, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Jake Jones, Tom Sykes, Daniel Larsson and George Monios, with his only defeat coming against Robert Thornton, to end on 24 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Tom Sykes and Daniel Larsson will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Sykes ending on 22 points and Larsson on 20 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Fallon Sherrock, Paul Hogan and Matthew Edgar. 

Robert Thornton, Jake Jones and George Monios will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Thornton ending on 14 points, Jones on 6 points and Monios on 4 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Scott Baker, Richard Rowlands and Aaron Gill. 

The MODUS Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
