Croft Seals MODUS Super Series Finale Spot

Joe Croft secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning two of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Croft, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall despite only winning two of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Zereso Zeverboom and Conor Heneghan, with his three defeats coming against Jeff Smith, Jason Heaver and Jamie Owens, to end on 20 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Jamie Owens and Conor Heneghan will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Owens ending on 20 points and narrowly missing out on top spot due to leg difference, whilst Heneghan ended on 18 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by John Henderson, Sam Spivey and Kevin Painter.

Jeff Smith, Jason Heaver and Zereso Zeverboom will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Smith ending on 18 points, Heaver on 10 points and Zeverboom on 4 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Martin Thomas, James Hubbard and Joshua Burksfield.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed on the MODUS Super Series YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
