Martin Thomas, Jeff Smith, John Henderson, Sam Spivey and Jamie Owens all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Joe Croft, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
In Group B, John Henderson topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Conor Heneghan, Kevin Painter, Jamie Owens and Sam Spivey, to end on 14 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Sam Spivey and Jamie Owens also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Spivey ending on 10 points and Owens on 8 points, edging out Conor Heneghan, who also ended on 8 points, but missed out in 4th due to leg difference, whilst Kevin Painter finished bottom on 0 points.

Thomas, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning three of his five matches, as he recorded victories against James Hubbard, Jeff Smith and Zereso Zeverboom, with his two defeats coming against Joshua Burksfield and Jason Heaver, to end on 16 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Jeff Smith also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the Canadian finished 2nd overall on 12 points, whilst Joshua Burksfield and Jason Heaver finished 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with James Hubbard finishing 5th on 8 points and Zereso Zeverboom bottom on 4 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Seven with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
