Jeffrey De Zwaan Into MODUS Super Series Finale

Jeffrey De Zwaan secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign top of the table.

The field was also confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series. De Zwaan, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning four matches from five for the third day in a row

The Black Swan recorded victories against Scott Robertson, Tomoya Goto, Danny Van Trijp and Marcel Otter, with his only defeat coming against Derek Coulsen, to end on 24 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Derek Coulsen and Scott Robertson will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Coulsen ending on 20 points and Robertson on 14 points.

The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Jamie Hughes, Mark Dudbridge and Mike Gillet.

Danny Van Trijp, Tomoya Goto and Marcel Otter will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Van Trijp ending on 14 points, Goto on 10 points and Otter on 8 points.

The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Barry Copeland, Tom Cromwell and Alex Williams.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT.

Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
