Baggish Beset By Tragedy

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

Occasionally, and deeply regrettably, the world of darts must bring sad and upsetting news away from the oche.

In this instance, we are devastated to report that it’s extremely tragic. Former PDC player and elite USA arrow-smith, Danny Baggish has lost his young son, Truen, after a battle with Leukaemia.

It’s easy to forget that these global stars who are heroes to many, are very much just like us. Real people with families, hurt in the same way as each of us.

For anyone who is a parent, and especially those who have tragically lost a child, will understand the sheer heartache this has cause. Only recently, another former PDC Pro Tour card holder, Robbie Green and his family sadly lost their young son Robert.

Here at Darts World, our thoughts and best wishes are with Danny, his family and close friends at this time. May you find strength in one another.
