Derek Coulson maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s Champions Week finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Coulson, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Tom Sykes, Dean Finn, Charlie Manby and Keegan Brown, with his only defeat coming against David Evans, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Keegan Brown is the closest competitor to Coulson, with ‘The Needle’ sitting in 2nd overall on 12 points, whilst David Evans sits in 3rd on 10 points, Charlie Manby and Tom Sykes sitting 4th and 5th respectively on 8 points each and Dean Finn bottom on 4 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale, with Coulson leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups during Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
