Tyler Thorpe, Joe Murnan, Graham Hall, Alec Small and Harry Ward all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the MODUS Super Series, to join Steve Green, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Thorpe, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning all five of his matches again, as he recorded victories against Joe Murnan, Reece Colley, Nicolas Thuillier, Alexander Masek and Devon Petersen, to end on a maximum 20 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Joe Murnan also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, whilst Alexander Masek finished 3rd on 10 points, Nicolas Thuillier in 4th on 8 points, Reece Colley in 5th on 6 points and Devon Petersen bottom on 4 points.

In Group B, Graham Hall topped the group overall after winning three of his four matches on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Carl Sneyd, Jarred Cole and Harry Ward, with his only defeat coming against Alec Small, to end on 14 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Alec Small and Harry Ward also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Small ending on 10 points and Ward on 8 points, whilst Carl Sneyd and Jarred Cole finished 4th and 5th on 4 points each.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 10 with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm GMT.
