Justin Smith took the early lead on Monday by ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week 11 of Series 12 commencing at the MODUS Super Series.
Smith, who last appeared back in June, made a long-awaited return as the Welshman won four matches from five to take the early lead, as he recorded victories against John O’Shea, Patrick Klingelhofer, David Airey and Scott Campbell, with his only defeat coming against Steven Johnstone, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Steven Johnstone and Scott Campbell ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Patrick Klingelhofer and John O’Shea sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with David Airey sitting bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Smith leading the way thus far.
