Charlie Manby was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 11 at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Scott Campbell in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Manby, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches, as he firstly suffered a defeat to John O’Shea before defeating Scott Campbell to progress through to the Semi Finals. At that stage, the 20-year-old came up against Justin Smith and dispatched the Welshman, 4-1, to seal a spot in the final.

In the decider, ‘Champagne‘ came up against Scott Campbell for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Peter Jacques in the last four, and once again the rising star got the better of his Scottish opponent, as Manby defeated Campbell 4-2 to seal his place in Champions Week as well as collecting the weekly first prize.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 12, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Former Weekly winner Mervyn King.
