Alec Small was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 10 at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Joe Murnan in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly top prize.
Small, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Joe Murnan and Steve Green to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Harry Ward and from there, Small defeated ‘Big H’ 4-3 to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Small came up against Joe Murnan for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Tyler Thorpe in the last four, and once again the Welshman got the better of ‘Shaggy’ as Small defeated Murnan in a last leg decider, 4-3, to seal his place in Champions Week as well as collecting the winner’s cheque.
