SUPER DARTS combines precision darts within a unique format that sets it apart from traditional steel-tip events.
Here’s everything you need to know about the event, which runs from November 29-30.
How does SUPER DARTS work?
SUPER DARTS 2025 rules
The Cork
To begin games, players decide who throws first through a “cork”. The order for the throwing of the cork is determined by a coin toss. Each player throws a dart and aims for the bullseye. The player closest to the centre point starts the first leg and this then alternates per leg.
If games go to a deciding leg then players will go through the cork again to choose who throws first in the decider.
’01 Game’ Rules
In a head-to-head format, both players start from a preset score of 501 and must throw to bring the score down to exactly zero. Players must achieve this in 15 rounds. If neither player finishes the 01 Game then a cork will be played and whoever ends closest to the bull wins.
Cricket Game
Numbers on the board between 15 to 20 and the bullseye are used for this game. Each number is referred to as a “target”. To open a target players must hit that specific number three times. Whoever opens a target first can then score that number of points by hitting it for a fourth time, which is known as “closing the target”.
By closing a target, the opposing player can no longer score points on that area of the board.
Once all of the in-play numbers and the bull have been closed, the player with the highest total cumulative points wins. If the score is tied, or the game is not decided after 20 rounds, then the cork shall be thrown by the players to determine a winner.
