Gary Stone & Shane Turner became the next two players to secure spots at Finals Night at the 2025 ADC Global Championship on Wednesday, after coming through their respective groups in Stage Two.
With the International Tournament continuing at the MODUS Live Lounge.Tuesday had seen Stage Two of the ADC Global Championship commence with Groups One & Two taking place, as English duo Johnny Haines and Tom Sykes came through their respective groups to secure spots at Finals Night on Sunday 4 January 2026.
Group Three saw Gary Stone top the group overall, after the Scotsman won four of his six matches, as he recorded victories against Jimmy Bristow (x2), Wes Newton and Ricardo Ham, with his two defeats coming against Newton and Ham in Games Four & Eleven respectively on the day, to end on 8 points from a possible 12 overall.
Elsewhere, Jimmy Bristow and Ricardo Ham finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 6 points each, whilst ‘The Warrior’ Wes Newton finished bottom on 4 points.
Group Four saw Shane Turner top the group overall, after the Englishman won five of his six matches, as he recorded victories against Brian Dawson (x2), Stuart Dutton (x2) and Timothy Verbrugghe, with his only defeat coming against Verbrugghe in Game Two of the night, to finish on 10 points from a possible 12 overall.
Elsewhere, Stuart Dutton finished in 2nd overall on 8 points, whilst Brian Dawson finished 3rdon 4 points and Timothy Verbrugghe finishing bottom on 2 points.
The ADC Global Championship continues on Thursday with Stage Two continuing and Groups Five and Six taking place.
The field in Group Five will include the likes of Graham Hall and Kurt Parry, whilst Group Six will feature the likes of Christian Perez and Conor Heneghan. Group Five will commence from 1pm GMT whilst Group Six will commence from 7:30pm GMT.
