The Gambler Takes Double Trouble Lead

Graham Usher took the early lead on Monday, at the latest MODUS Special Week, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as the fourth edition of Double Trouble Week commencedat the MODUS Super Series. 

Usher, who last appeared at the Super Series back in October, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Robert Thornton, Neil Duff, Kevin Painter and Richie Burnett, with his only defeat coming against Alex Spellman, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Richie Burnett also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Usher due to leg difference, whilst three players in Neil Duff, Robert Thornton and Alex Spellman sit 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively on 4 points each, with Kevin Painter sitting bottom on 2 points. 

The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Usher leading the way thus far.
