Jack Tweddell was crowned the winner of the 2025 ADC Global Championship on Sunday, after defeating Johnny Haines 9-7 in the final, with the International Tournament concluding at the Modus Live Lounge.
Tweddell, who came through Stages One & Two of the ADC Global Championship last month, began finals day by reaching the final. The Unicorn thrower recorded victories against stablemate Tom Sykes in the Quarter Finals and Scotland’s Gary Stone in the Semi Finals to set up a clash with Johnny Haines in the finale.

The final saw Haines take control in the early stages, as he moved 5-2 ahead after seven legs played, before Tweddell hit back by winning five successive legs and moved 7-5 ahead in Leg 12 and went within two of victory.
The tie then saw a further four legs played with the pair sharing the spoils as Tweddell sealed the victory in Leg 16 with a 14 darter to clinch the title and a record £60,000 in prize money.

Haines’ run to the final saw the veteran record victories against Niall Culleton in the Quarter Finals and Robbie Martin in the Semi Finals, before being narrowly denied by Tweddell in the finale.
Although sure to evolve with time it cannot be denied that the ADC’s flagship has made an impact and showcased many talented, famed or up and coming players from across the globe.
