O’Sullivan Off To A Flying Start at MSS Women’s Week

Rhian O’Sullivan took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of her five matches, as the fifth edition of Women’s Week commenced at the MODUS Super Series. 

O’Sullivan, the winner of the inaugural Women’s Week, made her return to the Live Lounge by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five and recording victories against Lorraine Hyde, Vicky Pruim, Fallon Sherrock and Kirsi Viinikainen, with her only defeat coming against Lisa Ashton, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Lisa Ashton also ended on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind O’Sullivan on leg difference, whilst Kirsi Viinikainen sits in 3rd on 6 points, Lorraine Hyde and Fallon Sherrock sitting 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Vicky Pruim sitting bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.  

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with O’Sullivan leading the way thus far.
