Fallon Sherrock was victorious on Saturday as she was crowned the winner of Women’s Week Five at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Lisa Ashton in the final and claiming the £5,000 top prize.
Sherrock, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of her two group phase matches, as she firstly suffered a defeat to Priscilla Steenbergen before whitewashing Rhian O’Sullivan to progress through to the Semi Finals, where she came up against Gemma Hayter, and from there, Sherrock dispatched of Hayter, 4-2, to book her place in the final.

In the decider, Sherrock came up against Lisa Ashton, who’d defeated Priscilla Steenbergen in the last four, and nothing separated the pair throughout the final until Sherrock sealed the victory in a last leg decider, 4-3, to clinch the title and join the roll of honour of Women’s Week Winners at the Live Lounge as well as collecting the £5,000 first prize.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week One of Series 13, with the field including Series One Champion Conan Whitehead.
