Rhian Retains MSS Women's Week Lead

Rhian O’Sullivan maintained her position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of her five matches on Day Two and looks to secure her place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

O’Sullivan, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as she recorded victories against Kirsi Viinikainen, Fallon Sherrock, Vicky Pruim and Lorraine Hyde, with her only defeat coming against Lisa Ashton, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Lisa Ashton and Fallon Sherrock are the closest competitors to O’Sullivan, with the pair sitting 2^nd and 3^rd respectively on 12 points each, whilst Kirsi Viinikainen sits in 4^th on 10 points, Lorraine Hyde in 5^th on 6 points and Vicky Pruim bottom on 4 points.

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with O’Sullivan leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups on Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
