Tommy Sweeps Into Super Series Finale

Tommy Morris secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series. 

Tommy, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against Matt Clark, Rob Grundy, Keanu Van Velzen, Jose Justicia and Carl Wilkinson, to end on 26 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Rob Grundy and Jose Justicia will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Grundy ending on 18 points and Justicia on 14 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Richie Burnett, Mark Dudbridge and David Wawrzewski.  

Carl Wilkinson, Keanu Van Velzen and Matt Clark will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Wilkinson ending on 14 points, Van Velzen on 10 points and Clark on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Michael Huntley, Richard McKee and Joshua Burksfield.  

The MODUS Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT.
