WDF Schedule for 2026 Season

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

The World Darts Federation calendar stretches across continents and time zones with little regard for recovery. The 2026 season is already in motion. January opened in Las Vegas, where neon glamour briefly collided with jet lag, before the circuit lurched east toward snow-dusted Eastern Europe for the Romanian Darts Festival. Bags were barely unpacked, flights barely forgotten, and already the airmiles were clocking up nicely. One month gone. Eleven more to go.

By February and March, the calendar becomes relentless. The Dutch Open looms large, a pilgrimage point for the WDF world, while Scotland, Slovakia, Ireland, Austria and the United States blur together in quick succession. Youth events weave through the schedule like quiet promises of the future, running parallel to the senior grind, reminding everyone that this ecosystem feeds itself constantly.

Spring does not soften the pace. April and May are thick with doubles of everything – Masters and Classics, Opens and Youth competitions – often stacked on the same weekends, often in different countries. Players become experts not just in throwing darts, but in logistics. Flights are booked between matches. Recovery happens in transit. The sport is played as much in airports as it is at the oche.

By June and July, the schedule sprawls outward. New Zealand. Gibraltar. Belgium. Youth Cups. Pacific events. Europe Cups. The sport becomes truly global again, and the toll becomes visible. This is the stretch where form deserts some and defines others. Where ranking points accumulate slowly, and mistakes linger longer than they should.

Late summer brings endurance testing. Wales hosts its triple-header. Austria stacks events tightly. Youth Grand Prix weekends sit beside major opens. There is no room to coast. September and October continue the theme – regional circuits colliding with continental championships, juniors and seniors sharing weekends, ambition layered upon ambition.

And then, finally, November. The World Championships arrive not as a celebration, but as a reckoning. Every mile travelled, every early exit, every narrow defeat feeds into this moment. For some, it validates a year of sacrifice. For others, it simply underlines how thin the margins really are.

December tidies up the edges with winter specials and festive events, but the damage – physical, financial, emotional – has already been done.

This is the WDF calendar. Not a list of tournaments, but a test of stamina. A map of commitment. A year-long audition where nothing is guaranteed, and everything is earned.
