Alex Williams, Justin Smith, Mike Warburton, Sam Spivey and Butch Devine all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the MODUS Super Series, to join Graham Hall, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Williams, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Harry Ward, Phil Johnson-Hale, Jyri Ussa, Justin Smith and Robert Thornton, to end on a maximum 20 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Justin Smith also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Jyri Ussa finished 3rd on 8 points, with Phil Johnson-Hale, Harry Ward and Robert Thornton finishing 4th, 5th and 6th on 6 points each.

In Group B, Mike Warburton topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Butch Devine, Kevin Burness, Andy Baetens and Sam Spivey, to end on a maximum 16 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Sam Spivey and Butch Devine also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Spivey ending on 8 points and Devine on 6 points, edging past Andy Baetens, who also ended on 6 points but missed out in 4th due to leg difference, whilst Kevin Burness finished bottom on 4 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Five with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm GMT.
