Dual code World Championship qualifier Nick Fullwell holds on to the number one spot in the Amblecote RBL Premier League, taking his points tally to seventy after winning 7-0 against Brandon Mallen and 5-2 against Shane Sheridan. Cayden Smith is second, three points behind Fullwell after adding his 6-1 win over Joe Poole and 4-3 win against Craig Slater. Reigning champion Jason Lowe is third on sixty-five points but having played one game fewer than the two players above him.

Game twelve in the Harborne and District League brought about no change in the top six places with leaders Copper Fox ‘R’ making it twelve straight wins with a 7-2 home win over Crown to keep intact their two points advantage over second placed Northfield Conservative Club who also had a home fixture and also won 7-2 against Thimble Mill. Third and fourth placed Northfield Darts Club and Smethwick Cricket Club are both on twenty points, four off the top after in turn they won 6-3 at home over Copper Fox ‘M’ and 8-1 at Weoley Castle.

It was certainly a week of high scores in the league with no fewer than fourteen maximums being recorded. Northfield Darts Club player M.Lloyd hit no fewer than three, while C.Fowler (Copper Fox ‘M’) hit two as did D.Hill (Northfield Conservative Club). A 7-0 win at Cock Inn took Northfields undefeated run in the Kings Norton League to thirteen games and gives them a four points breathing space on second placed Greenlands for whom there was no result this week, their twelve results one fewer than Northfield. Third in the league Bourneville lost ground in the title race as they suffered a 4-3 home defeat at the hands of the Stirchley team, leaving them eight points adrift of the leaders. At the other end of the table, Cavalier are still seeking their first win after twelve games.

Game thirteen results saw no change in the Premier League table in the Sheldon and District Winter League with Highwood still riding high in pole position after adding on their 6-3 home win over second placed Langley Arrows to stretch their lead to four points. Third placed Sheldon Marlborough Arrows missed the opportunity to go second when they lost 6-3 at home to fourth in the division RAFA and are now on the same sixteen points as Langley Arrows but trailing on average. It was certainly lucky week thirteen for bottom of the division Smithswood Social Club as they chalked up their first win in ten games, a 5-4 success away against next to bottom Brian’s Flights to put them level on points and average with tier opponents.

Banbury Arrows lost their top spot in division one after they somewhat surprisingly lost 5-4 at home against fifth in the division Raven. Banbury drop to second place, two points short of new leaders RAFA Arrows who won their home game against Lyndon Old Boys 5-4. Trident Spears are third, on the same eighteen points as Banbury but behind on average after they lost their home tie with Yardley Ex Colts 5-4.

Like the Premier league there was no change in the division two table, leaders Langley Pints handing out a 9-0 whitewash to their visitors, bottom of the table Trident Flights to keep them four points to the good on both second third placed CBMC-A and Maggies, CBMC-A going down 5-4 at Maggies.

Ryan Cain holds on to the number one spot in the Heartlands Sugardarts M&E Co Double Top League, taking his oints tally to twenty-three after adding on his latest 3-0 win over brian Meer and 2-1 success against John Burdett. Clive Austin remains second, just one point short of Cain after he beat Steve McCormack 3-0 and Ramone Stevens 2-1. Northfield Darts Club had a 5-3 home win over Stirchley United to keep them top of division one in the South West Birmingham Clubs League and push their opponents down one place to third with seven points, three fewer than their host’s but with a game in hand. Northfield Conservative Club ‘B’ are second, they were held to a 4-4 draw at home by Kings Norton Ex Serviceman’s Club to leave them two points short of the leaders. 

In division two, West Heath CEM had their fixture with Longbridge Supremes postponed and as a result dropped from pole position to fourth on eight points. Taking over at the top of the table is E57 after a 4-4 draw at second placed Bartley Green FC, E57 have ten points and Bartley Green FC nine.

The Rowley Monday Night League have got their new season underway with an impressive twenty-three teams, five more than last season, the league have split the season into two divisions and top of division one with a convincing 8-1 win is Bell who won at Tividale Sports. With the same 8-1 result, Bostin Darts ‘B’ top the division two table, they won away at the Vine.

Beginning the new campaign with a maximum were S.Plant (Romsley Cricket Club) and M.Preedy (Vine).

Once again it’s no change in the Black Country Ladies Super League as leaders Allen’s Bar ‘A’ won 3-2 against bottom of the table Allen’s Bar ‘D’ and second placed Allen’s Bar ‘B’ had the same 3-2 result against third placed Allen’s Bar ‘C’.

Allen’s Bar ‘A’ had an important 3-2 win in the Black Country Men’s Super League when they won their home game against second placed Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club, to open up a thirteen points gap between the two teams, although the Ex Serviceman’s Club do have two games in hand on the leaders.

A straight 3-0 win over Jackie Trott has seen Jacqueline Maiden open up a four points lead at the top of the West Midlands Ladies Super League as her nearest rival, Evonne Taylor, after winning 3-0 against Claire Hobbs, then lost by the same 3-0 margin to Hannah Davies.

As a result of their 3-2 defeat away to Gilbert’s Bar ‘B’, Carrington Club have lost pole position in the West Midlands Men’s Super League and dropped to third place with fourteen points, four short of new leaders Kings Head, who won 5-0 at home against Dog and Partridge. Staffordshire Knot are second on fifteen points, three behind the leaders after they won 4-1 at home over Chase Social.

Despite being held to a 4-4 draw by Allan Davies in the latest round of fixtures in division one of the Gilbert’s Bar Monday Night Singles League, Simon Prtichard holds on to pole position with fifty-two points, nine more than second placed Chris Manoila who won 6-2 against Richard Brown. A further one point adrift, but with a game in hand is Simon Mountford, who beat Wayne Speed 7-1 and Dave Rich 6-2.  

Former division two leader Michele Pritchard, lost 6-2 to Kobi Holyhead and as a result drops to fifth place on thirty-four points, four short of new leader Neville Quinton whose 6-2 win over Liam Davis gives him a total of thirty-eight points with a game in hand on his two nearest rivals Wayne Barratt and Kobi Holyhead who in turn are on thirty-seven and thirty-four points.

The Wolverhampton Tuesday Night League staged the first leg of the quarter-finals of their Knockout Cup with top scorers Gilbert’s Bar ‘B’ carrying a 6-1 lead into the second leg against Wednesfield Legion. The other three games all finishing with a 5-2 result, Junction ‘B’ beating Golden Lion ‘A’, Junction ‘A’ winning against Dog and Partridge and Gilbert’s Bar ‘A’ beating New Gate Inn.
