Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price will not be at this weekends Poland Darts Masters in Krakow, as both were late withdrawals from the event.
van Gerwen withdrew from this weeks’ Premier League night in Glasgow due to a medical issue, and Price’s withdrawal has also been attributed to medical issues by the PDC.
They will be replaced in the draw by Michael Smith and Callan Rydz respectively.
Smith will face either Luke Woodhouse or Carl Sneyd in round two of the competition on Saturday evening, while Rydz will start against Joe Cullen or Krzysztof Ratajski, also on Saturday night.
