Chas Barstow and Jamie Atkins took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective darts groups. Each looks to join Brian Raman in Saturday’s finale at the MODUS Super Series.
In Group B, Chas Barstow took the early lead after winning three of his four matches on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Neil Wild, Jonny Barnes and Devon Petersen, with his only defeat coming against Richie Howson, to sit on 6 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, three players in Jonny Barnes, Neil Wild and Richie Howson ended the night 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 4 points each, with Devon Petersen sitting bottom on 2 points.

Meanwhile Atkins, who entered Group C having finished bottom of Group A earlier in the week, took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Graham Jenkins, Conor Paterson, Jesus Salate, Zereso Zeverboom and Scott Winder, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Scott Winder and Zereso Zeverboom ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Jesus Salate and Conor Paterson sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, with Graham Jenkins sitting bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Brian Raman in Saturday’s finale, with Atkins and Barstow taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT.
