Jack Drayton was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Nine at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Jamie Lewis in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly top prize.
Drayton, who entered the finale having won Group A earlier in the week, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches as he defeated Joe Hunt and Adam Hunt to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Jenson Walker and from there, Drayton defeated his compatriot, 4-2, to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Drayton came up against Jamie Lewis, who’d defeated Joe Hunt in the last four, and it was Drayton who came out on top and defeated the Former PDC World Championship Semi Finalist, 4-2, to seal his place in Champions Week as well as collecting the £5,000 first prize.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 10, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including the likes of Richie Howson and Brian Raman.
