Week fifteen results in the Premier League of the Sheldon and District Darts Winter League had no effect whatsoever on the divisional positions with Highwood holding on to the top spot with twenty-four points after adding on their latest 5-4 home win over Mackadown Sports and Social Club. Second placed Langley Arrows had a convincing 8-1 win at Brian’s Flights to keep within four points of Highwood but with two games in hand.
Third placed Sheldon Marlborough Arrows have three games in hand on the leaders and one on Langley Arrows, they have eighteen points but lost ground in the title race when in their latest fixture they lost 5-4 playing away against fourth in the division Dog Inn Nomads, Paul Brown and Terry Webster both having a 100 finish for Sheldon. Smithswood Social Club lost 6-3 at home against Kingshurst Labour Club despite their Lewis Franklin recording an eight darts game.
An 8-1 home win over Lyndon Old Boys sees Banbury Club hold on to the top place in division one, they have twenty-two points from fourteen games. RAFA Arrows moved up one place to second after their convincing 8-1 home win over Trident Spears who previously held the number two spot. The win for RAFA puts them level on points with Banbury Club with a game in hand. Dave Reid chalked up an eight darts game for RAFA. Trident Spears dropped to third place and are two points behind the two teams above them.
Langle Pints made it thirteen wins in fourteen games when in their latest fixture they won 8-1 at home against CBMC-A, who as a result lose their second place and drop to third on twenty-points, six short of the leaders. Shirley Misfits replace CBMC-A in the number two position, their 5-4 win at Digby giving them the same twenty points as CBMC-A, but with a better average. Fourth and fifth placed Hollyood Social Club and Maggies are also on twenty points, the former having played fifteen games while the latter have played thirteen and have games in hand on all the teams above them.

REARRANGED AND PLAYOFF DARTS MATCHES CAUGHT UP
The South West Birmingham Clubs League played off their Mixed Doubles knockout, the encouraging twenty-four entries, double that of last year. Lifting the title were A.Cullen and K.Heath who defeated K.Bedder and L.Manger in the final.

There was just one rearranged division two game played in the Sutton and District League, which saw Oscott Social Club win 7-2 at home against Misfits @ Holly Lane Sports and Social Club. The win sees Oscott Social Club move up the table three places to seventh while their opponents remain rooted at the foot of the table with a single point from their thirteen games so far.

The Heartlands Sugardarts M&E Co Double Top League are up to week eight and leading the field with thirty-seven points from fifteen games is John Frost. In his lates fixtures, Frost beat Bob Cooper and Clive Austin 3-0 to put him one point ahead of second placed Steve Cain after he won 2-1 against Ramone Stevens and 3-0 against Ryan Barritt to leave him with a game in hand in Frost. A further one point adrift with thirty-five points from fifteen games is Ryan Cain, his latest fixture saw him win 3-0 against Gemma Whatley and Ellis Gundy. Fourth and fifth placed Charlie Rogers and Martin Cooper are both on thirty points, Rogers having played fifteeen games and Cooper only twelve. Charlie Rogers lost his opening game of the night against Dylan Bloomer 2-1, but then by the same margin won against Ryan Barritt. Cooper had an opening 2-1 win over Ryan Barritt and then had a similar 2-1 win against Roxy Bennett.

Cross made it five straight wins in the Stourbridge and District Monday Night League when the won 6-1 at Fox Inn (Lye) to keep them top of the table and just ahead of joint second placed Bird in Hand on average after they had a similar 6-1 win at Queens Head (Stourbridge). Old Liberal Club are the other joint second team, their 6-1 home win over Netherton Conservative Club ‘B’ keeping them level on points and average with Bird in Hand. Fouth placed Five Ways are the only other undefeated team in the league, they took their winning games to five with a close 4-3 win at Seven Stars. Swan are fifth on eight points while Netherton Conservative Club ‘A’ and Gornal British Legion are both on six points. The Netherton Thursday Night 501 League had the first leg of the semi-finals of their League Cup on the fixture card and taking a 9-0 lead into the second leg are Old Liberal Club, who beat Townsend 9-0. Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘A’, with a maximum from Phil Tonks accounteed for Haden Cross with a 7-2 result.
In addition to the cup games, there were two rearranged league fixtures played in which Bulls Head, with two maximums from Grant Jackso, won 5-4 against Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘B’ whose Paul Nicholls also hit a maximum. The win sees Bulls Head move up one place in the table to fourth, their opponents lying next to bottom of the table. In the other game played Furnace chalked up their second win in eight when they won 5-4 at Rose and Crown, Furnace move up one place to tenth.

A vital 8-1 win at Lamp Tavern keeps Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘A’ top of the table with forty points, Lamp Tavern dropping one place in the table to third on thirty-eight points. Taking over the number two spot is Bridge, their 7-2 home win over Mount Pleasant putting them on the same forty points as Dudley Ex Serviceman’s Club ‘A’ and with a game in hand. After the opening four games in the Rowley Monday Night League, only two division one and three division two teams remain undefeated. Previous league champions Bell, are currently topping the division one table, their latest fixture seeing them win 6-3 at home against Rowley Labour Club with B.Gillies notching a maximum for the winners. Gate Hangs Well are the only other division one side to have won all four games, they made it a perfect eight points when they won their home game with third placed Tividale Sports 7-2, this being Tividale’s first defeat.
There were further 180’s in division one for T.Dore (Romsley Cricket Club) and A.Bonehill (Boston Darts ‘A’) while both G.Locke (Tividale FC) and A.Bennett (Romsley Cricket Club) both recorded 160 breaks.
In division two Bostin Darts ‘B’ lead the way, their 5-4 win at home over Shelter keeping them top on average from second and third placed Double Tops Micro Bar and Bostin Darts ‘C’ who in turn accounted for Star Valley (5-4) and Hasbury (5-4). Fourth in the division Loyal Lodge kept within two points of the leaders wining their home tie with Coombs Wood 6-3. Shelter’s J.Bland had a 160 break.

A 6-2 win over Kevin Bate takes Simon Pritchard’s points to seventy-five at the top of division one of the Gilbert’s Bar Monday Night Singles League. Second placed Chris Manolia beat Dave Rich 5-3 to give him fifty-seven points from eight games, two fewer games played than Simon Pritchard but eighteen points behind him.
Division two leader Neville Quinton suffered a 5-3 defeat to Mike Franks but remains top of the division with fifty-eight points, five more than second and third placed Michele Pritchard and Dean Showell. Michele Pritchard had a 6-2 win over Eddie Gripton while Dean Showell won 7-1 against Tanya Dolman to go level on fifty-three points with Michele Pritchard.
