Getting Lucky? Labanauskas and Leek Join Unicorn Darts

Diamond Draws Competitions

Globally renowned darts manufacturer Unicorn has announced another pair of tungsten transfers with the acquisition of two prominent PDC Tour Card holders, further strengthening its already illustrious roster of professional talent.

On the eve of the UK Open, the Nottingham based company revealed via its official digital platforms that both Darius Labanauskas and Adam Leek had joined the Unicorn ranks.

Experienced Lithuanian arrow-smith Labanauskas enjoyed a highly successful 2025 campaign on the circuit, capturing three PDC Challenge Tour titles and finishing the season in second position on the Order of Merit – an achievement that secured him a well-deserved return to the main Pro Tour.

Affectionately known on the oche as Lucky D, the 49-year-old has also been exceptionally prolific across the Nordic and Baltic circuit. Since 2018, he has accumulated an impressive tally of thirteen tournament victories in that region. Arguably Labanauskas’ most notable achievement came at the 2020 World Championship, where he embarked on a memorable run to the quarter finals before eventually succumbing to Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace.

A familiar presence at the World Cup of Darts, where he has proudly represented Lithuania for the past seven consecutive editions, Labanauskas continues to pursue a maiden senior PDC title. His closest brush with that elusive milestone came seven years ago in Barnsley, where he finished as runner up in a Pro Tour event.

Leek Growing Up fast As He Joins Iconic Darts Brand

Joining the Lithuanian veteran at Unicorn is newcomer Adam Leek, who recently secured his place on the PDC Pro Tour. The Australian sealed his professional status earlier this season by defeating Tyler Thorpe on the opening day of the final stage of Qualifying School. Hailing from Adelaide, the 27-year-old steadily progressed through the domestic ranks in Australia before earning his opportunity to compete among the sport’s elite.

Leek will now look ahead to the prospect of partnering fellow countryman Damon Heta at this summer’s World Cup of Darts. As the only two Australians currently competing on the PDC circuit, he will undoubtedly be hoping the pair can emulate their nation’s memorable triumph in the 2022 edition of the tournament.
