Rising Dutch star Jamai van den Herik has become the latest glittering acquisition for Mission Darts, adding yet another promising talent to what is already a remarkably well stocked and impressively formidable stable.
After teasing fans across social media with nothing more than a mysterious silhouette, speculation began to whirl with predictable enthusiasm. When the reveal finally arrived, it confirmed what many had already suspected – the highly coveted young prospect van den Herik was indeed the newest name joining the Mission ranks.
MORE FROM DARTS TUNGSTEN TRANSFER WINDOW
The arrival of van den Herik further underlines Mission Darts’ clearly articulated commitment to cultivating the next generation of elite tungsten talent. The Dutchman now aligns himself with an emerging cohort of youthful prospects that includes Cam Crabtree, Thomas Banks and Dylan Slevin – a group widely regarded as possessing the potential to enjoy long, prosperous and impactful careers within the professional game.

The South Holland youngster’s stock rose considerably over the course of last season. The 22-year-old captured an impressive quartet of titles across the PDC Challenge Tour and Development Tour circuits, achievements that ultimately secured him a coveted berth at the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace. And when handed a valuable opportunity on the Pro Tour, the Dutchman seized it with admirable composure, advancing all the way to the quarter final stage and further enhancing his rapidly growing reputation.
Mission Building a Forward Looking Darts Stable
Jamai now finds himself in distinguished company alongside former World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker, fellow Dutch ace and rapidly ascending talent Wessel Nijman, as well as seasoned professionals Ryan Joyce and Alan Soutar.
Speaking about the move, a visibly delighted van den Herik said:
“I’ve heard lots of positive things about Mission from speaking with other players on the PDC tour, 2025 was my best year so far and to finish the year playing at Ally Pally was an amazing experience. With the help and support of Mission behind me now, my goal is to qualify for the World Championships again this year.”
