The ADC’s Vault 16.0 is already gathering considerable momentum, with venues spanning the length and breadth of the United Kingdom collectively staging in excess of 300 tournaments each week. It is grassroots darts on an industrial scale – vibrant, accessible and increasingly competitive.
Sharing a surname with the legendary Beach Boys co-founder, Carl Wilson remains one of the most influential figures on the amateur circuit, and recent exploits serve as yet another illustration of precisely why. While nine-dart finishes have become an almost routine spectacle within the rarified theatre of the PDC, they remain a comparatively scarce and cherished occurrence within Vault competition. Yet pedigree has a habit of announcing itself.

The player affectionately nicknamed Gok produced a moment of pristine perfection on a Sunday afternoon in February at Rusthall Club, Tunbridge Wells. Against the backdrop of local league intensity, he unfurled a flawless nine-darter – a sequence of tungsten virtuosity that momentarily transformed a community venue into a cathedral of darting excellence.
He was not alone in delivering early-season Vault 16.0 perfection. Roughly a week earlier, Welsh competitor Alex Williams – known as The Extinguisher – ignited his own blaze of brilliance at the Ex-Servicemen’s Club in Penygroes. After firing in consecutive maximums, he expertly channelled his moniker before extinguishing the remaining 141 with clinical precision.

Wonderful Walker’s Monumental Vault 16.0 Average
Then, more recently, 13-year-old Jayden Walker – already festooned with youth accolades – delivered a mesmeric 121.86 average at The Sandpiper in Christchurch, Dorset. There was no magical nine on that occasion, but legs of 13, 11 and 13 darts represent a standard of precocious excellence that would intimidate many seasoned campaigners, let alone a teenager at the embryonic stage of his career.
Speaking of seasoned campaigners, DartsWorld Ambassador Colin Osborne has been quietly making an impact in his new area. The Wizard has claimed multiple North West events and reached the finals of more. We suggest you keep an eye here!
The enduring allure of the ADC Vault system lies in its democratisation of opportunity. It is constructed for anyone, irrespective of ability, typically within convenient proximity to home. For aspiring players, it provides a structured yet welcoming platform upon which to refine technique, cultivate resilience and test competitive mettle.
