Usher Through To Champions Week Final

Graham Usher secured his place in Saturday’s Champions Week finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Usher, who entered Wednesday’s play on 10 points from the opening two days of Group A, produced a remarkable display in winning all five of his matches to become the first player through to Saturday’s Champions Week finale, as he recorded victories over Conan Whitehead, Graham Hall, Chas Barstow, Lee Evans and Robert Owen, to finish on 20 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Graham Hall and Conan Whitehead will compete in Group B, after both narrowly missed out on leg difference, with the pair ending 2^nd and 3^rd respectively on 20 points each. The duo will be joined by the winners of Weeks 4, 6 and 12 respectively in Darryl Pilgrim, Ciaran Teehan and Chris Mason.

Robert Owen, Chas Barstow and Lee Evans will all compete in Group C, after the pair finished 4^th, 5^th and 6^th, with Owen ending on 16 points, as Barstow and Evans ended on 6 points each. The trio will be joined by the winners of Week 10 and 11 in Gavin Carlin and Peter Jacques and the best Runner Up across the 12 weeks of play in Josh Payne.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
