Noa-Lynn Van Leuven took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of five matches, with Week Five of Series Nine commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Van Leuven, who last appeared at the Super Series back in July, made a winning return by overcoming Nick Crouwel, Stowe Buntz, Fallon Sherrock and Devon Petersen.
The Dutch thrower’s only defeat was against James Richardson, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Stowe Buntz ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, whilst the remaining four players in Sherrock, Richardson, Petersen and Crouwel sit 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th respectively on 4 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Van Leuven leading the way thus far.
