John Henderson took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as Week Seven of Series Nine commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Henderson, who last appeared at the Super Series back in September, made his return by winning four matches from five on the opening day of Group A.
The Highlander recorded victories against Jeroen Caron, Kevin Mills, Danny Jansen and Cam Crabtree, with his only defeat coming against Robert Thornton, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Danny Jansen also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Henderson due to legs won across five matches played, whilst Kevin Mills sits in 3rd on 6 points, Cam Crabtree in 4th on 4 points, with Robert Thornton and Jeroen Caron sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Henderson leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
