Rapidly ascending Polish darts prodigy Sebastian Bialecki, also a member of Team DartsWorld, concluded his Milton Keynes expedition in emphatic fashion, triumphing twice at the back of the weekend to elevate his PDC Development Tour tally for the 2026 campaign to three.
Victories over Jack Drayton on Saturday afternoon, followed by a pulsating thriller to edge Dominik Gruellich in the sole Sunday showing, ensured he departed Buckinghamshire perched proudly at the summit of the mountain.

Affectionately dubbed The Bolt, Bialecki ignited proceedings with breathtaking ferocity in day two’s opening event, storming through his first four encounters without conceding a solitary leg. The 22-year-old then navigated a sterner examination against Dutchman Jurjen van der Velde before unleashing another annihilating whitewash – averaging comfortably north of 105 – to dismantle Sidney Lloyd and surge into the quarter-finals. There, the Łódź thrower showcased both composure and class to overcome Archie Self in a high-calibre duel.
Continuing his imperious march, the Pole registered a sixth whitewash of an extraordinary day, effortlessly dispatching Bram van Dijk to reach the final. Opposite him stood Jack Drayton, and while the contest promised fireworks, Bialecki’s blistering start proved decisive. Racing into a 3-0 lead, he maintained that advantage with clinical assurance to double his seasonal tally.

Weber’s Weekend Masterclass
Saturday’s second instalment bore a striking resemblance to Friday’s narrative, with Leon Weber once again emerging as the last man standing. The increasingly impressive German appears to thrive once the sun has dipped beyond the horizon, reinforcing his reputation as something of a nocturnal marksman with another commanding success, this time overcoming Ben Townley to complete a Milton Keynes double.
Mirroring Bialecki’ s earlier dominance, Weber progressed through the early rounds without dropping a leg, only briefly relinquishing control in the last 16 against Welshman Lewy Williams. Thereafter, a curious pattern emerged, as each subsequent opponent managed precisely two legs before succumbing.
Victories over compatriot Florian Preis and, once again, Dominik Gruellich – in a repeat of Friday’s encounter – propelled Weber into the final, where he delivered another assured display to claim a third Development Tour crown of his burgeoning career.
Bialecki Bags the Brace
Bringing the curtain down on a relentless spell of quality tungsten action, Bialecki emulated Weber by departing Arena MK with a two-title haul, inflicting further final heartbreak on Dominik Gruellich, who was forced to settle for a second runner-up finish of the weekend.
Once again, The Bolt tore through the field with ruthless efficiency, conceding just three legs en route to yet another quarter-final – a run that included a devastating demolition of Finn Behrens, powered by a colossal 105-plus average. The later rounds presented sterner resistance, yet Bialecki remained unflustered, dispatching Kai Clark and Lewis Cook in the quarters and semis respectively without the need for last-leg drama.
The final, however, delivered precisely that. Gruellich, desperate to atone for Friday’s previous disappointment, responded to an early 3-1 deficit by reeling off three consecutive legs to seize the initiative. Yet, with tension mounting, Bialecki forced a decider – and once again, the Pole held his nerve.

For Gruellich, it was another bitter pill to swallow, though his deep runs and valuable Order of Merit points offer some consolation. As for Bialecki, his trajectory continues its upward surge, establishing him as the frontrunner as the season approaches its midpoint.
