Josh Payne took the early lead on Tuesday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, with the fourth week of Phase 2 commencing at the Online Darts Live League.
Former Tour Card Holder, Payne, who competed in the opening phase at the Live League in 2022, won all five of his matches to take the early lead in Group A, as he recorded victories over Colin Osborne, Ciaran Teehan, Lisa Ashton, Alan Tabern and Scott Walters.
Elsewhere, Scott Walters and Ciaran Teehan sit 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, with Alan Tabern sitting in 4th on 4 points, as Colin Osborne and Lisa Ashton sit 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Payne leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30 GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
