Colin Osborne and Chas Barstow took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day 1 top of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Josh Payne in Saturday’s finale at the Online Darts Live League.
Osborne, who entered Group C having finished 5th in Group A earlier in the week, won four of his five matches as he took the early lead, after recording victories over Ciaran Teehan, Peter Jacques, Dom Taylor and Peter Jacques, with his only defeat coming against Alan Tabern, denying him a clean sweep.
Elsewhere, three players in Ciaran Teehan, Alan Tabern and Peter Jacques all ended the day on 6 points each, with Teehan sitting in 2nd with a higher leg difference between the trio, as Martin Thomas sits in 5th on 4 points and Dom Taylor bottom with five defeats from five.
In Group B, it was Chas Barstow who took the early lead, as he recorded victories over Scott Walters, Lisa Ashton and Nick Kenny, with his only defeat coming against Andy Hamilton.
Elsewhere, Hamilton and Nick Kenny both also ended the night on 6 points each, but sit behind Barstow on leg difference, as Scott Walters sits in 4th on 2 points and Lisa Ashton bottom with four defeats from four.
Online Darts Live League continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Josh Payne in Saturday’s finale, with Osborne and Barstow taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 9:30am GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
