Lee Evans took the early lead on Tuesday in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning three of his five matches, as Phase 3 of the Online Darts Live League commenced.
Evans, who competed in the opening two phases at the Live League in 2022, kicked off phase 3 as he won three of his five matches in recording victories over Matthew Edgar, Gary Robson and Scott Williams, with defeats coming against Jim McEwan and Keelan Kay.
Elsewhere, three players in Scott Williams, Jim McEwan and Matthew Edgar all ended the day on 6 points each too, but sit behind Evans on leg difference in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively, as Keelan Kay sits in 5th on 4 points and Gary Robson bottom on 2 points.
Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Evans leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30 BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
