In memory of John the first “Jack Jones Memorial Knockout” was staged at Gilbert’s Bar and attracted many players ranging from local league players to internationals and professionals.

The ADC Championship Tour finalist claimed 32 ranking points for his victory on the second bank holiday Monday of the month

There were men’s and ladies' knockouts for both Saturday and Sunday with a strong line-up in all four events with a total pay-out for the weekend of £7880.00.
