Chris Bird triumphed against Paul Redfern 5-4 in a fantastic final of the 7th REDSL Grand Slam

In the quarter-finals local county Warwickshire were able to boast six of the eight players, the first of the four games seeing two of them Mark Strong and Ian McFarlane square up to each other

The annual Tribute and Memorial Dart Competitions were once again hosted, and sponsored by the Academy club, in aid of the Heart of darts charity after an absence of 2 years due to covid.  

The title and the top prize of £300 went to Warwickshire County player Jack Wareing who defeated Ryan O’Connor 7-2 in the final

It was a top event played in an amazing venue.  And it’s always nice to beat a World Champion...
