Division 1, saw a dramatic home match against Durham at Cressex Community Centre.

Well, I billed this as a top-of-the-table clash which it certainly was and as a tough match but all of you Dorset players gave 100%

Match eight has seen the position harden at the top of the Premier Division and some thrilling matches in all divisions including a couple of 18 all ties:

Yorkshire, Dorset, Derbyshire, The Black Country and Northumberland sit atop their respective divisions .....

Leaders Yorkshire romped to a 24-12 home win over Hampshire who as a result of their defeat drop one place in the table to fifth...

...in the current season they are presently placed fourth on 145 points which is five more than fifth-placed Wirral who they entertain in their final game of the season.

...with Salopian playing hosts to Middlesex in the final game of the season the title will be decided by whoever wins that game.

Black Country began life in division two with a 20-16 defeat away to West of England but since then they have not looked back adding six consecutive wins....
