Introduction:
Fantastic set of contoured barrel darts. Ergonomic design to fit in the hand & around your grip.
These are possibly the chunkiest of the Lethal Magic range. The grip is quite narrow rings that are a deep cut. This gives a lot of traction and a grippy but not aggressive feel.
They also have a lot in common with darts like Harrows V Wing or Unicorn Control or even the Target Cortex Azzurri 2. But they are considerable cheaper than most of those and more consistent with their grip. Can be easily thrown from middle or rear of the barrel. Not easy to do from the front grip position. Can be set up either short or long as pictured.
Open The Box:
When Purchased new these come in the standard Red Dragon packaging with a set of black aluminum stems and a set of generic but nicely designed Red Dragon flights (std shape). They are fitted with black points which round off the solid no-nonsense setup well.
I find that with such darts a very short, but quite large surface area, can work well. Sort of a crossbow bolt theory.
Snapshot Summary:
An excellent all-around dart that suits many different throws. Solid feel and a reliable, consistent grip.
Excellent value for a little less than £30. A tweak or two with the setup can mean a huge variety of throws and throwers will find a way to enjoy these arrows.
