Room 180 to offer JDC affiliated academy.

Room 180 Academy, Winmau, Nottingham College and the Junior Darts Corporation are proud to announce the opening of the new Education darts hub based at the Basford Hall campus at Nottingham College.

Room 180 Darts Academy is affiliated to the JDC, sponsored by Winmau and will offer an exciting darts offer for the local community, including the students of Nottingham College. The Academy will be run by JDC accredited and highly experienced tutor, Gary Horsley.

Room 180 has been a long standing success and was championed and launched with our own Colin Osborne doing weekly sessions and knockout competitions with staff and students.

The Room 180 Darts Academy will meet on Monday evenings – 5.30 – 7.00 P.M. For further details please contact Gary on the contacts below. The JDC affiliated Academy will feature the firmly established training routines for darts players between the ages of 8 and 18 years of age and will give the players the chance to pit their skills against other players in the national JDC structure. There are a host of similar academies in the UK and across the world and the Nottingham youngsters can now get involved.

The Room 180 Academy, has its own sponsor too in leading darts manufacturer Winmau, Simon Hall, Marketing Director at Winmau comments: “the joining of the Room 180 Darts Academy to the JDC structure is great news and should provide an exciting new project for the Room 180 team. The sessions are Monday – 5.30 – 7.00 pm  

To book a place on the JDC Nottingham Academy please contact Gary to book a place for your trial session.  Your trail session is free then the cost of each session is £3 and we offer the opportunity for players to join the world wide JDC Grading system weekly at a cost of £2”
