Adam Smith-Neale secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after he won just two of his five matches, as Group A came to a close, with the fields being confirmed for Groups B and C at the Online Darts Live League.
Smith-Neale, who entered Wednesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won just two of his five matches, as he recorded victories over Josh Payne and Dan Read, with defeats coming against Mike Warburton, Robert Owen and James Richardson, as he ended on 12 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, James Richardson and Dan Read will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, both on 12 points, but finished behind Smith-Neale on leg difference, as will Robert Owen, who finished 4th on 10 points. The trio will be joined in Group B by Matthew Dennant and Nick Kenny.
Daily table winner Mike Warburton and Josh Payne will compete in Group C, after finishing 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Warburton finishing on 8 points and Payne on 6 points. The duo will be joined by Andy Hamilton, Paul Hogan, Richard North and Lee Evans.
Online Darts Live League continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
