Jamie Hughes has put pen to paper on a new deal with Red Dragon Darts. Yozza’s many supporters and advocates will hope that he can now return to his very best after a difficult couple of years.
Hughes, a former Finalist in the Winmau World Masters, has been with Red Dragon for over 6 years.
Following a successful spell in the BDO, where he won the Zuiderduin Masters and was a semi-finalist at both the World Trophy and Lakeside, Yozza went to Q-School in 2019 & won his PDC Tour Card, since then he has appeared in every PDC televised major, including a UK Open Quarter Final.
The Black Country thrower has already won events on the PDC’s Challenge and European Tours
Marketing Director for Red Dragon, Simon Hall, told us, “Jamie is a talented darts player, and we are yet to see him show his best form. We are very pleased Jamie will be continuing his journey with Red Dragon!”
An arm injury led to surgery and a recuperative journey that has proven a little up and down.
Jamie, 36, added, “I am excited to sign a new contract with Red Dragon. The last few years have been difficult as a darts player, but I am ready to get back to normal and show everyone what I can do!”
